Sidra Dental Clinic is a startup healthcare business based in Hargeisa. The existing dental clinics in Somaliland
provide basic dental service. Patients who need comprehensive dental services travel to Turkey or India for the
services. Sidra aims to provide these comprehensive dental services locally. The project entails the purchase of
specialized equipment and tools required to conduct these services. Sidra will also provide dental assistant
training courses and certification, which will benefit the community. The business will create 10 new jobs and
train some 1,200 students a year. The business expects to generate USD 240,000 on dental services as well as
USD 118,000 on dental training students fees.
