Dhama camel milk, established in 2014, currently provides fresh camel milk in jerry cans to the market. The
company proposes to introduce new and innovative camel milk packaging and to establish a modern production
unit for camel milk based products, such as soap, chocolade bars, cream and ice cream. The proposed project
will create 16 new jobs of which 11 jobs for women and youth. The business expects to increase its turnover
from USD 77,730 (expected in 2023) to USD 210,000 in 2024. The proposed products will reduce dependency
on milk powder and packaged milk import and serve as import substitute. The business will procure machinery
and supplies, as well as a pilot project.
